Welcome to: GRANDPA'S CARPET CLEANING

Hello, My name is Kevin Buckley and I own and operate Grandpa's Carpet Cleaning. I live in and operate from Sandown, New Hampshire. I have been cleaning carpet under this name for about six years and chose the name Grandpa's because I am a proud Grandpa:

CARPET CLEANING:

I use a truck mounted carpet cleaning system. This means that the equipment is substantial in size and power. It also means that I carry around my own water to use during cleaning and I take away the dirty water from the carpet cleaning process. To  extract the water and soaps and dirt to and from the carpet, I have plastic hoses that I keep rolled up in the truck.

The cleaning process involves the application of soap by a sprayer powered from pumps in the truck. With the use of very hot water, I then use a specialized cleaning wand to agitate the soap with a spray and immediately suck the dirty water back to a tank located in the truck.

UPHOLSTERY CLEANING:

The process for upholstery cleaning is quite similar except that I apply soaps by using a scrubbing glove to apply a thin layer of soap solution to the fabric before using a smaller specialized cleaning wand to rinse and extract dirty water from the furniture.

HELPFUL INFORMATION:

Which towns do I go to?

I travel as far north as Manchester, NH.

I travel as far east as Exeter, NH.

I travel as far south as Salem, NH.

I travel as far west as Londonderry, NH.

     What does it cost?

I would love to have a one size fits all answer but I don't. Each household is different. I try to estimate over the telephone (603) 887-5454 or by e-mail: grandpa@grandpascleaning.com  Usually I come close to the actual price. If I feel that my estimate is substantially over or under the real cost, I will say so before beginning the work. My prices generally work out to be lower than the major franchises because my overhead is lower. If you live nearby, I will come to your house to do a couple of rooms for you.

When can I get there?

I advise a one week advance notice. I often can get to you sooner. I usually book morning appointments Monday through Friday. I will do a weekend day if requested but I try to avoid this. I respect the importance of your time and do not overbook.

How long does it take to dry?

It will take from two to six hours usually. It can take significantly more if humid conditions exist. Carpet dries by evaporation and moving air in moderate temperature will dry the best. Immediately after cleaning, if you walk across the carpet in cotton socks you will find the socks wet but not soaked through.

In Conclusion:

Hopefully I have provided enough information about Grandpa's for you. Don't be afraid to give a call (603) 887-5454.

I make no promises except to get the best possible results by diligently applying this proven and recommended process to give you:               Good Old Fashioned Clean!
